A fast-growing company in the e-commerce space is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to lead and support its accounting operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports.
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Partner with cross-functional departments to support business initiatives and ensure accurate financial data.
• Participate in system and process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Support year-end audit processes and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA license or CPA exam progress (actively pursuing).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Background in e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, or subscription-based businesses.
• CMA certification or MBA degree.
